Obesity Maps

One study found differences in the trends of obesity over time by race, ethnicity, obesity rates have started to decline and stabilized for many adolescents, but continue to increase for certain racial and ethnic minorities, according to a new study led by UCSF. The evidence of increased racial disparities for obesity highlights the need for more intervention programs and policies tailored to high-risk groups, the authors conclude.
