Lose 10 Pounds Quick

Remember the Cabbage Soup diet? When you are being bombarded by the latest diet fads, you may be tempted to run back to the old rules that promise to get rid of 10 pounds quickly. There are positives about this diet, particularly rapid weight loss, but the negatives are what needs to be considered. In essence, this diet is quickly modified. Here's what to expect and be careful when using this diet:
- This is a diet 7 days only. This is not a change of lifestyle or a way to lose a few pounds over
- This is a strict diet menu. Very little variation. Boredom is inevitable, but only for a week
- You have to eat everything at home, this is not a diet that provides substitutions when eating out
- Count of calories is dangerously low. Is likely to be eating only between 800-1000 calories per day (ask any doctor, this under a number of never recommended calories without medical supervision)
- Because of the low calories, you can not have the energy to exercise on this diet
- It is a serious lack of nutrient
- Much of the weight is water loss, and not long-term
There are more than one version of the diet, but the basics remain constant. You have a minimum of other food incorporated into the plan, but most only eat low-calorie soup to fill your stomach. Now that you know what the diet is concerned, are some tips for making the work diet:
- Strictly follow the diet – which means, you eat a lot of soup
- Drink at least 6-8 glasses of water a day
- Remember that it is only for seven days
- Supplementing the diet with your favorite multivitamin
- Eat lots of soup – every time you want, when you are hungry! If you do not eat often you start looking around to eat other things instead
- You can add spices to kick it up a notch
- Print reference diet and put it where you can easily see (as in the refrigerator)
The cabbage soup diet is ideal for a quick couple of pounds, and implement a plan to lose weight. Everything cabbage, vegetables and clean liquids to be good, it helps to get rid of some swelling, and makes you feel good about eating many plants in a row – but vegetables are not eaten enough calories and nutrients for the long term. It can do wonders for your mental state to reach the scale and see a loss for that special event that almost starved for, but losing 10 pounds is not usually permanent. The second is to start eating real food again, wait some of that lost weight back. When you need to lose more than a few pounds, is about healthier options.
