How to lose 10 pounds in a week – 8 proven tips that helped me lose 10 pounds in a week

Desperately needed to lose weight for my wedding. I lost 13 pounds in the first week and 10 pounds in the second. This is very little time to lose weight, and not very healthy, I know. However, this weight loss success was quick to kick start my journey of weight loss, and motivated me to continue losing weight, following natural and healthy methods below. I will share every step I followed in the second week, which helped me lose 10 pounds in 7 days.

Please note that the fast weight loss is not healthy.

These are the steps I followed after the first 7 days to lose 10 pounds in one week:

1) First, had a day of detox – to clean my body and lose weight faster. I prepared a glass of lemon juice, ginger and honey mixed with water and drank this Detox drink during the day. Always hungry, I only drank it. I felt good, like I normally do, no cramps, no lack of energy, nothing. This was not difficult at all, and I'm sure that drove the results of my weight loss. I know some people do all week detox, but this not for me.

2) I limited the amount of food, because it really takes to lose weight fast. I had a lot of vegetables, lean meats, fish, eggs, and some fruits (mainly apples and oranges). My new rule of eating was as follows: half of the plate should be vegetables (just tried to avoid the potato too) ΒΌ of the plate – white meat or fish, and the rest can be of fruits (not bananas because they are too sweet and starchy). I know that eating less is not always an option for a lasting weight loss. But surely it is an option to lose weight fast, and that `s what my goal was. An easier way to reduce the amount of food is get a smaller plate. However, eating less it was very difficult, I admit. But I reached my goal and I am very happy now.

3) I added a 2 blocks from a can of black beans to my diet. I had the beans as my main meal, or divide into two smaller and had meals with vegetables on the side. This is a trick not to mention those diets. And it works great as 35 grams of fiber daily diet weight loss really supercharging. These fibers cleanse the digestive tract and improves digestion.

4) I started to eat breakfast and stopped eating at night. 19:00 was the last hour of the day when I had my dinner. Breakfast increased my metabolism and helped me burn calories faster, even if I ever thought it could be as important for weight loss. It kept me energy too. I have at least 10 glasses of water throughout the day, and still do – Water cleanses the body, increases metabolic rate and does not let you feel hungry.

5) I distributed my normal caloric intake during the day. I started eating 5 times a day with smaller meals. In this way I never had to go hungry.

6) Limit fats, sweets and not so healthy food, and I always felt like I need to eat something healthy, I moved those meals to the first part of the day. Because the metabolism is higher in the morning compared to night, and this let me eat a donut or ice cream once every few days.

7) Instead of drinking juice, I fresh fruit at all times. The juice is too sweet for weight loss, if 'thirst again, a little water or green tea without sugar.

8) kept me motivated and busy all the time. I know that when you're busy, you do not have time to go to the kitchen. This works wonders.

This plan may sound too simple to lose 10 pounds in a week – but follow this plan religiously and you will see real results.
