What are good ways to eat and lose weight fast?

Yeahhhh … I really want to lose weight. I work at a gym, but I have not been there lately because my family just recently moved and have been busy with that. But I will go tomorrow to start a day or every other day. I usually 40 minutes to do work outs. My eating habits are not the greatest, but is not so bad. I need a good strict diet to follow and I want to lose weight fast. So tell me what you think I should do and a good diet to follow.
