How I can convince my mind to stop overeating? Diet Tips and Tricks?
im trying to lose weight and need some tips on diet, and tricks. perhaps some psychological tricks to lose weight
Please check the other posts of great tips on psychological tricks and learning about nutrition conscious. My interest is in the physiological component of overeating. First let me describe a condition called apnea sleep, which will trigger a voracious appetite that no amount of food aware that defeat. Those who suffer from a sleep disorder are more likely to eat when your body mistakes the lack of sleep with starvation. This is called sleep apnea is a common problem. The more you eat, the biggest problem is its apnea dream of becoming. Ask your roommate if you snore. (It is not known about this symptom if you sleep alone, because you never hear their own snoring). In Western cultures, we live in toxic food environment. The food industry makes money by making their food physiologically and psychologically addictive. Industry food is set dose of sugar, fat, salt, caffeine, MSG and aspartame. It is addictive substances that have a chemical effect on the brain. We evolved in an environment that was inconsistent supply of calories and nutrients. The body stores calories into fat cells when food was abundant, and survived during periods of famine by the use of energy from the fat cell. Today, Western cultures are in perpetual states of wealth. The food is very rich in amounts that humans have never seen before. The body is hard-wired as foods such as sugars and fats. A large percentage of people in cultures Western become addicted to these foods. Obesity remains a major problem since the 1980s in the U.S.. The best publication in this field is by Dr. Neal Barnard. He has a seven-step process for "Breaking the Food Seduction." Go to the library and check out this book. Part of it is available online for free from Google books. Another useful book is "Conscious Eating" by Jan Hut Bays, MD. It just became a vegetarian and sweet and rejected excess fat and grease. I lost 50 pounds and kept it through this change of lifestyle.
