Best Protein For Weight Loss
If low-carb, high protein diets for weight loss healthy?
I'm thinking of going to a low-carbohydrate, high protein diet. I have about 12 pounds I lose. Are these healthy eating? I would never do something as radical as the Atkins and since I'm vegetarian, I will not eat meat protein. Eat soy products, but I'm not sure how low-carb to be, but I know that are high in protein. Some people say that a high-carbohydrate, low protein is best, and others say that a balance of carbohydrates, proteins and fats is best. What do you think? Thanks in advance for your advice.
I honestly eat a balanced diet, but eat less of everything. theres a food pyramid for a reason, which is the most healthy for a person consumes. You should get 6 or more servings of grains (carbohydrates) and less than 3 servings of meat (protein) so if u eat less carbohydrates and more meat, then you're throwing your whole system off. In addition, proteins contain cholesterol, which can not be good for you. I keep away from refined white bread or white rice, things like that. but multigrains / rye / wheat are good for you. And honestly, vegetables and fruits are much better for you, and help you lose weight too.
