definition of overweight

Overweight men are everywhere. Why? Could it be that they drink too much? Perhaps it is the lack of exercise. How about the fact that in general, like red meat, maybe a little too much? And then there is fast food. Who has not seen the large amount of fast food ads everywhere? During a football match in three quarters of the ads are for food or similar liquors. Pizza Hut, KFC, Bud Lite, Miller Lite, Coors Light, yada yada yada.

Too remedy the situation is not as bad as most men the figure. You do not have to give up that beer, but mixing in a little common sense when you baby. It is not necessary to run until they fall, a little regular exercise will make a world of difference. Eat less red meat, it is certainly less, no no. You do not need that exists in bean sprouts and lentils, but a salad once in a while would not hurt. Do not use fast food as a crutch to eat. Homemade meals are much more delicious and can be as fast.

A fact that men can not remember is that men are overweight or obese are more likely to get prostate cancer. It was found that overweight men have lower levels of PSA (prostate specific antigen) blood. Apparently, the amount of PSA in your body is a definable amount and if you are overweight or obese, the PSA was spread over more blood. So technically it is not quantity, is the volume that counts.

If that is not enough to scare you into lifestyle changes, try this. It has been found that men with a waist circumference over 42 inches are more than twice likely to suffer from impotence than men with a waist of 32 inches. It was also found that a little physical activity a day, maybe half an hour a day dramatically make a difference in erectile dysfunction. Not only are more likely to be impotent, but when they are not, the sperm they produce is not abundant nor productive. There is a 60% higher chance of lower volume and 40% higher probability of presenting abnormalities in sperm.

Another disease that happens to men but not necessarily for women is the hip and knee replacements. It was found that women who were overweight were less likely to have hip problems and knee than men. It's pretty amazing set of statistics for this consideration of gender. The statistics say that women over a body mass index (BMI) of 25, which is the definition of overweight were no more likely to undergo hip replacement surgery with a body mass index under 25. For men is 60 to 70% which means that men are overweight or obese range over 60% more likely to need hip replacement.

Also found that men with overweight or obesity buy more prescription drugs than their normal weight counterparts. Up to 3-4 times more than men with body mass index Normal body 18 to 24.9.

Overweight men need to drink less, eat a little less and exercise a little more. Before starting a diet or regimen exercise, talk to your doctor about whether you're in the right direction.
